Perhaps the device needs a paralysing poison, or a tranquilliser, built into the barbs?

That would make more sense, it did state that they didn't penetrate the skin though.

What if the chick put it in, got on the turps and forgot about it, met a bloke and they go back to his place.....

The with it bloke will remind her to remove it, and that will also act as proof of consent when she wakes up next to him sober and claims otherwise in the morning. 8)

I reckon I know what that thing feels like! Similar to the catheter I had in for 2 days a couple of weeks ago.
Didn't hurt whilst it was in,, but taking it out, Ouch!!!!!!!
