We did go a long time with no rain and it was over 35 for quite a number of consecutive days.

Either way, since we had them two real stinkers on the arse end of a very hot spell high 30's seem nothing nowadays.

Can’t stand even high 30’s anymore. Our long term plan was to eventually move interstate or OS but I’m trying everything in my power to bring that day forward as I’ve simply had enough of it

To a cooler climate I presume? Where are you considering?

Was seriously considering taking up a job transfer to NZ a year or so ago but it just didn’t suit at the time. Have no idea if offer will ever come up again and days like today I kick myself [emoji3]

Also, this time of year the days are getting shorter at both ends and the sun is in different position to six weeks ago

El Nino and La Nina are both neutral at the moment, but projections suggest more than likely an El Nino will be developing in the coming weeks/months.

Not a good outlook for primary producers already struggling.

Yeah, it seems as though we'll get heavy hits but not enough off them or long enough.

Kinda agree Q, something just feels different.
We've had warm autumns with late breaks that have ended up really good seasons, and conversely plenty of good autumns that have died in the arse, but something just feels off.
Mind you, this time in 2017, after all of 2016 and the 2017 summer we thought it would never stop raining, and last two years have been pretty ordinary for a lot of the cropping areas.

I was a bit disappointed with the amount of rain TBH, Stupid news made it sound like it was going to rain heavily for 3 days straight.

They always do.

When they say "4-10mm" they base their total on the 10mm not the 4mm.

So "4-10mm" across three days they say "up to 30mm" when in reality it will probably be 12-15mm.

Anywho, much needed, more to come tonight and tomorrow, glad I cleaned the gutters out yesterday morning and finished them in the afternoon.
