The lightning show on display driving into work was quite spectacular. Been a while since a good light show!

8mm so far on our way to about 25mm today with thunderstorms. All hay done and in the shed and still about 2 weeks from starting harvest so shouldn’t get any damage from this event on our crops unless we get a massive hail storm which would damage most things in its path.

Spare a thought for the Parndana and Pt Elliot shows which are on today. :( Pt Elliot can't take a trick. They cancelled in 2021 due to heightened Covid while other shows went ahead and then this year they postponed from their usual mid Oct weekend to this weekend due to the showgrounds being waterlogged and unfit for use and from all the rain we had in early October and now they're copping this barrage all day. I hope tomorrow is a better for them.
