Lad started working last week for a concreter.

We looked outside this morning and I said "I think you're gonna need an extra couple layers today son".

He was still as happy as a pig in shit when I went to drop him off.

Yep, ruined my lunch, was sitting out the back reading the paper enjoying a pie and had to make a runner inside in a hurry!
Still, it's an excuse not to walk the dog. :D

Hmm, I could take the dog for a walk at Arndale but it might not get out with its life.

I always check in on FB if I ever have to go there, at least people know where I was last seen.

That place is a whole new world, even for a special breed such as myself.

It's usually only Big W I need to go to so I park near them doors, occasionally I go to their Connors store, that's a little more strategic.

Too bloody cold already,
just booked another trip to Port Douglas & then another trip to Bali.
Looking at going back to Kununurra too,
I reckon once my 12 yo becomes self-sufficient I'll piss off north every year from May until October.

Still raining a bit around my area, my lawn will be loving it and therefore I am loving it. I mowed my lawns in the early afternoon on Wednesday, a couple of hours before the rain rolled in which turned out to be perfect timing and 2 days of rain is a very good soaking for my lawns!

No rain on the horizon or at least the next 10 days. We will start dry seeding our program on Monday with hope some will come eventually. Lots of farmers have already started seeding also hoping for a decent rain to bring it all up at once. I have never none it not to rain in our area on Yorkes so just have to be patient and it will come.

Yeah most have started seeding around Clare/Spalding/Redhill. Some will even be finished by the end of next week.

It’s raining,it’s raining
Haven’t been out to check gauge yet but would be close to 5mm so far. A more significant rain event coming Sunday Monday and about time too.
Got 75% of our seeding done now dry. Hopefully finish Sunday afternoon before the heavens open.

Above average winter/spring rainfall has been predicted by the BOM which mean it’s going to have to rain a lot as we are just so far behind average.
