What does that mean? Basically rain fall above average in the North, East and Centre of Australia, cooler than average day time temps and the chance of more tropical cyclones.

Always looked on the cards. Just hope it pisses down most Saturdays.

I take no notice of suggested rainfall amounts and percentages.
I look at the satellite and synoptic chart.

We are having a weird weather pattern that's for sure.

Even the insects got conned by Saturdays rainfall forecast.
I had ants and bugs everywhere, so that normally means significant rain.

Loved this when I heard it.... "and here's Keith Martyn to have another guess at the weekends weather"

The weather patterns we're experiencing are the hardest to forecast, tropical moisture* is the most unpredictable when it comes* to where it will hit the ground, or won't.

If this La Nina is as bad as they say, this summer could be the tipping point where I change over my evap to reverse cycle.

It’s not predicted to be that bad.

“ The last significant La Niña was 2010–12. This strong event saw large impacts across Australia, including Australia’s wettest two-year periods on record, and widespread flooding.

"La Niña also occurred during spring and summer of 2020-21. Back-to-back La Niña events are not unusual, with around half of all past events returning for a second year."

Dr Watkins said that this year's event is not predicted to be as strong as the 2010-12 event and may even be weaker than in 2020-21 La Niña event.”

It’s not predicted to be that bad. They said potentially wetter than let year, but not as bad as the one before.

Where the hell did that come from? I was sitting in a meeting then heard the onslaught, had to rush out and put my window up.

Working from home this week and the Bintang singlet and shorts isn't cutting it, might have to put some grown ups pants on!

Don't get me started on that, a chick comes in my office this morning and says "Can you please organise me a laptop so I can work from home, it would be far more beneficial for the company"

I said "Really? You hardly work from work and you have more sickies than the rest of us put together"

Apparently that is her leverage for requiring it.
