Despite a brief break for Christmas Day we’re experiencing one of the best Monsoons I can remember up here in Darwin

We basically had 480 ml in the last 14 days and in Dec had 12 ml (half an inch for the cockies) shy of what Adelaide gets in a year

Currently p!ssing down 40 mm in 5 hours

Re the floods

When we had the drought we watered lawns on days when allowed, no filling of pools etc

So, why not the opposite now to held reduce floods on the Murray? Flush dunnies, water your plants as much as you want, why not systematic water over use?

I’ve mentioned the same thing, don’t charge of water in January and use as much as you like.
