Woke up this morning and the tap/shower/toilet water isnt quite as clear as usual.. it looks like very very light brown water. Still tastes ok and ok for showering etc but not normal. Is this common? Could it be due to the rain? Should I wait a while and see what happens? SHould I call SA water?
I live in Woodville PArk
Cheers

Don't you know Adelaide's water policy
If it's brown drink it down
If it's black send it back

This usually happens after rain. It's only a light concentration of water fungi that won't harm you if you consume it as the water is still treated.
It should still taste the same, although the water in the toilet should be a little more salty. If this is not the case, I suggest contacting SA water.

It's actually quite hygenic if the toilet is reasonably clean, just dip a bit of paper in there without touching the sides.

As a kid I remember mum turning the bath tap on.
And raging mud shoot out.
Quite regularly...

Adelaide water is terrible, the Ph levels at the Elizabeth Aquadome are better than straight Adelaide tap water. (Im not joking either)

When I lived in West Lakes in the mid 1990s a carbon filtering system for the entire household supply was obviously necessary.
It was OK in Melbourne until a dryer season or two lowered the reservoir and more murk and chlorine became common, so we fitted on there too.
So far I haven't needed to on the Adelaide Hills.
If you need it Solo used to make a good one, but I haven't checked lately:
