The Caltex/Woolworths at Pooraka and Greenfields are selling it for $1.04 ($1.00 with a voucher). Funny thing is servo's near it are still selling it for $1.13

premium is usually 10c dearer then unleaded
so guessing it would be around the $1.10 mark!
for ten extra cents and currently cheaper then the normal price. Almost have to go premium. your car runs better and you get more km's out of it!

Diesel used to be less refined hence cheaper but now due to new standards, has to be 'cleaner' meaning less sulphur, etc so the refining process is more than it used to be.
That's the oil industry's line to justify the increased cost ... whether that's a true reflection of reality, well?

Still 1.04 at Parafield/Mawson Lakes (Salisbury Highway).
Also that independent place across the road from Holdens was about 1.14

Last night I saw prices range for $1.04 ($1.00 with a voucher) at Shell Salisbury East to $1.29 at the Woolworths/Caltex at Pooraka (which jumped from $1.04/$1.00 in 24 hours).
Never seen such a wild range of fuel pricing!

I have.... in Tassie
When I was there last, you'd have one station at $1.10 and the one across the road at $1.25, they don't seem to follow any sort of cycle at all!

Only if the motor is actually designed to benefit from it - otherwise save your money.
[It is mostly determined by the compression ratio.]

I drive a 1998 VT Commodore - would that run better on premium unleaded? At the moment I'm spending about $160 a week on petrol - I go through about two tanks of regular unleaded - and it's just ridiculous.
