Does anyone have any teenage kids that have worked at KFC after school and weekends?

They seem to have a huge pool of employees in this category that get bugger all hours each week, you'd think they'd have a smaller pool and offer more shifts per week.

We had a disgruntled player leave our club this week, joining a neighbouring club. They put in a clearance for him but we denied it as he is unfinancial after not paying he fees last season. He played for his new club today (I found out after he posted a photo on his Snapchat story) despite not being cleared from us and was not named on MyCricket (they only had 10 named) so I'm assuming he is unregistered for them at the moment? Would of they been able to have a permit or temporary transfer granted for him despite having his clearance denied by us? And therefore hs he still allowed to play for them in today's match?

So who left for Districts?
Not Port Districts.

So someone has left the Haven's and played week 1 for the Pirates in Grade 3 of the PDCA?

I guess they are thinking/hoping that the player is cleared by Thursday week when the deadline is for entering the match stats.

Correct mate, and he's a family member of yours.
Yeah we believe that is the case but that's not up to the player as he may of been told he's good to go, their committee/president/secretary needs to sort it out.
Do the PDCA grant permits for pending clearances? What about for declined ones?

Oh, well that escalated quickly, I had no idea it was him and was merely having a stab in the dark.

No, generally not, you put in for a clearance, it gets approved, then you can play, I guess people do try and baulk the system but it's pretty easy to see where each step was completed.

If anyone touched/moved my crab nets I’d be cutting theirs free & telling them to go fetch.

It was a funny one. Couple of blokes, like you and me, looked on in amazement at what I said to them, like they thought I had over stepped the mark.

One young Greek/Italian lad, about 13 or 14, was there with his Nonna, she was munching on some fruit and he was crabbing away, loving his afternoon, it was some of his nets she moved, I just stood there in front of his ropes not letting her get to them telling her to piss off. These two blokes were either stunned by her actions or mine, they were looking at me oddly so I assume they thought what I was doing was wrong.

The kid, and his Nonna, thanked me after.
PAFC. Forever.

LOOK OUT, WE'RE COMING!

Just coincidence that it was him and it was you asking the question haha!
Ahk well I guess we'll know the outcome this week, I wasn't completely clear on how it works with denied clearances and permits, especially between different associations hence my first post about the scenario.

I think most places are the same, it gives more kids that work experience and confidence plus most of employers are aware that come year 11 and 12 schooling comes first. My youngest daughter is 16 and averages 6-8 hours per week at Foodland, more in the holidays. This is similar to what my eldest was getting there at the same age.

There was a time stamp error on a few posts which meant they are showing in the incorrect order. Some users posts were "in the future" and the system wont allow you to post another comment until a certain period of time has elapsed since your last. Given your last is in the future, it meant you're cactus until the future post became the past.
