Why do England have the emblem of 3 lions?? That's a bit like us having a polar bear.

We have the Wallabies/Kangaroos/Socceroos/Kookaburras.

It may also be a much older identification with these impressive beasts linking right back to the Roman occupation of England.
Roman legions possibly used them as emblems, rather like sporting teams do today.

Who thought it would be a good idea for t-shirts and shirt to have such short and narrow sleeves these days, you need to buy a size bigger than usual just to have then not be skin tight
