Is she really that offensive? If her exact words came from a bloke, reckon you'd find it insightful

Agree. I think most who get annoyed are fueled by the voice of a female not the words. I mean it's a 1/10 chance Brian Taylor actually gets the player right. Dermie generally commentates what you can't see up the ground (some like/some dislike it)

I actually think Daisy does a good job in that she isnt a know it all and has a level of modesty about what she is saying, just calling how she sees the game with not to many layers of mayo thrown on for 'entertainment.'

Completely different to Kellie Underwood who tried to be the female Brian Taylor.

Her knowledge is great when you can understand her.
She needs to slow down and speak clearer.

She sounds scripted and rehearsed to me, what she says never flows.

and studies show there's a particular tone and pitch which people will relate to I'll see if i can find the link... and most female voices are too mousy and squeaky and thats why people are annoyed by them.

Not mine though ;) 8)

Look at every female news presenter - they all speak with a lower tone

Totally incorrect, nothing to do with her gender. I find her extremely annoying and a total 'Captain Obvious'

just off the top of my head Mark Waugh, Ian Healy, Dwayne Russell for the exact same reasons as Daisy Pearce.

I also don't think much of Chris Johnson or Nathan Jones

Any of you gents know what the undercover scenario is at Royal Randwick?

I’ve got a bucks show there this coming weekend, we are in the general admission and the forecast is for a bit of rain.
Should I ditch the blazer for a rain jacket? Or will we be able to stay dry fairly easily?
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!

Toasted sandwich makers - any recommendations from recent purchases?
Our old no name brand that served us so well for 25+ years gave up the ghost 18 months ago. We bought a Sunbeam deep dish state of the art hirdy girdy soon after and it’s been nothing short of crap. It was still fully functional just not doing its job & ended up in the bin Sunday morning.

We have two, a Sunbeam "Big Fill Toastie for 4" which my wife got as a present for Xmas and my trusty Kmart Flat Toasted Sandwich Press which I've had for almost six years now. Both have been brilliant.

We’ve been using the George Foreman likewise but it doesn’t seal the outsides for leftover bolognaises, casseroles, braised steak & onions etc…
