Sounds a bit tight to me. I'd say 90 minutes to be safe.

Are you booking adl-USA and that comes up as an option, all in the same airline?

If so then book it, they will hold the flight for you if needed.

I booked adl-London with a 50 minute stopover in Hong Kong once. I figured it’s their problem if they let me book it. My flight was late arriving but they basically marched us to the next plane and everything worked well

I tend to allow a one beer buffer at least between flights.

Similar had a 1 hour stopover in Dubai, barely had time to take a piss after going through inbound security and then outbound again. A lot of effort when i ended up back on the same plane and same seat!

House next door has been demolished. People doing the demolition said the fence between our house and now vacant block is being replaced. Am i obligated to pay half even if i dont want a new fence. I'm happy for a new fence if they pay for it. Fence is pretty old and shit but is still standing and understand they would want new fencing as it's being built and sold but surely that's their expense and not mine.

I thought it has to be a mutual decision to split the costs, otherwise its solely on the people who want the new fence if the other party doesn't. That being said, you'll end up with the rails and posts on your side!

Tell them you are broke and content with what is there, they'll cover the cost if they really want a new fence.

No. They're meant to serve you with a notice under the Fences Act stating what they're going to do and what they reckon you should contribute, and you then serve them a cross-notice stating that you object within 30 days (and if you don't it's presumed you consent). The only time you're obligated to pay is when urgent repairs are required.

So, like LM said, just sit back and wait. If a new fence goes up and you haven't received the appropriate notice (a Form 2), then there's no way for them to claim to money from you.
