That’s interesting as Mrs C was asked yesterday by her sister to go on a trip to China with her in May! Must be some deals in around that time maybe? The idea was the girls are going to play travel guide to their parents. Father in law turns 80 next year, and other than going on a cruise once, has never left the country!

Our's is a 12 day tour which includes return airfares with Qantas, 11 nights 4 star accommodation, all breakfasts included and one dinner for $1,350.00 each. That was with an upgrade for an extra day and two trips on the bullet train. Cheap as buggery I thought.

Yep, some ripping deals to China. I’m not a fan of tours but for your first trip there it’s not a bad idea. I prefer to wing it as I like doing things at our own pace but it can be a difficult place to navigate at times. With a tour they will take care of everything for you. My parents are in their 70’s and have done 2 of those package deals to China in the last year and are planning another currently

Miss Boon needs 3 chaps for haircuts in the city tomorrow between 9am and 1pm if you're free and need a pre-Xmas tidy up.

Haircut is free.

Been to China a few times for work. Language barrier is difficult but the ones who try and speak English help a lot. Also take cash unless you have that alipay app as most if not all venues except for major hotels do not accept credit card.

Mrs C asked me to cook a small roast on the new BBQ tonight while she did the veggies in the normal oven. All good, but I believe it’s Un-Australian to cook meat on a BBQ without adequate supervision and a beer or 2 on the go. It’s Monday night she said... it’s a BBQ I said, and a small price to pay for perfection!

Anyone else struggle to light a BBQ and not have a beer?

I’m normally double figures before I even entertain the idea of lighting it!

The wife can't fathom why I can't not stand there watching a spit roast for it's entirety with beer in hand.

New car warranties.
Mine is about to expire and I have it booked in at Mazda for a ‘free’ end of warranty inspection.

Does anyone take their car elsewhere and have it independently looked at before their warranty runs out?
Not sure Mazda will thell me if anything is wrong as they’ll have to fix it.
