What are the settings in your main office aircon?

We have many debates around here and my controller governs part of our main office and three other office's.

I set it to 23 and cool, some complain, some love it. Bear in mind the ones that complain have their heater on under their desk every day of the year.

Cool to 25 in summer.
Warm to 19 in winter.

Anything else is just destroying the environment.

Ive got one lady sits next to me. Every frigging day complains she is cold. Id hate to see her heating bill at home

Ive given up sugar coating it any more. Just bluntly tell her, its just you, you are always cold, and that seems to do the trick now.

We arent allowed to change any settings anyway, so not sure what she thinks we can do about her being cold anyway...

I have no idea, I think I heard somewhere that it's the most economical setting?

I just see it as providing a bit of warmth without the heat, if that sounds not too stupid?

Yeah I got no idea but we grew up in a house where 23 was the go to number.

We have plenty in that boat, although the relationship between my neighbouring office and I is always strained, we are on the same page with the settings, the dude next to hers isn't here often enough to have his vote counted.

22°-24° is the most economical range to operate in.

When it's 30+ outside, 25 feels cool.
When it's 15 or under outside, 20 feels warm.

like someone else said, these are the default cooling and heating settings for sustainability.

I go in my lads room last night and he has the split system pointing down throwing snow at him while he's rugged up under the quilt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to point out that the ceiling fan will do the same trick for a 10th of the cost.
