We have lost our 3 wicket keepers due to harvest. I look set to make my keeping debut at the ripe old age of 37.

Ignore the messages. Trust me.

Any general builders on here? I need some brick work demolished over a drive way, some patience while I get the house painted, then some remedial work to put some things back in place.

Anyone?

Has the price of car tyres gone through the roof like most things these days?
Need new set and $1300 is the going rate apparently for 4 fitted tyres.
Ouch!

For a 4WD?
All depends on the size of the tyre. You should be able to get away under $500 for a medium sized car.

Not just tyres but how is the price of second hand vehicles

Bought my new car 3 years ago, thinking of upgrading over the Christmas break. My car second hand is worth what I paid for it new 3 years ago according to Cars Guide and what is on there. Crazy.

Friend of mine just got her car accessed after the hail storm out north last month.
They have said it’s a write off and they are paying her about half of what the car is now worth in todays market.
She will get a very average car now as opposed to the good car she had.
Insurance companies are fraudsters

Never take their first estimate, always respond with pictures and sales of current cars available. They tried that with us, lowballed us, I went back and got nearly double the initial offer.

How and more importantly why is Gus Worland commentating the cricket on triple M?

Blokes a dead set flog.

My experience too, after the missus had her car written off early this year. The assessors are the laziest pricks on the planet; they offer the lowest price they can justify, then let you do all the work researching similar cars on the market to find what it's really worth. Then you'll get a "compromise" offer, still not quite as high as your research suggests, but significantly higher than their initial offer so you'll accept it with relief.
