Finally going to watch Port tomorrow night and thought we would stay the night in town after the game but looking at rooms this morning the prices are out of control compared to what we normally play. Cheapest is $365 for one night at the Miller apartments. Normally we stay at the intercontinental but they are well over $1000.

Millers Apartments are great value for dollar generally, they have a decent kitchenette.

If it's just you and the bride, check out Mawson Lakes Hotel, their rooms are good, under $200 per night and about a $30 uber trip or a free bus to and fro.

Still shagged I think.

I always found the footy bus just as quick, especially for a Friday night game as the traffic going in isn't as busy as coming out of the city, the buses get their own lanes and crap intersections and you alight right near the gates.

Grand down the bay $250, I guess you can catch the tram from there.
