WTF is with that colour...looks plastic but good to see he did a catch and release when you consider how long they can live and the weight they can reach...

To save you converting it...67lb 14oz equals 30.45kg's...lived longer than some people...RIP Two Tone

I wish I could catch one of those stinking mongrel fish that size in the Murray. Would come in very handy this year for yabby bait. Dirty stinking no good useless piece of shit fish they are.

What makes me think it's a bit suss, apart from the colour, is the size compared to the claimed weight...it just looks far to big to be 14kg.

This was Austin Holness holding Two Tone which would be 2008 and put it at over 30kg...

Here are Two Tone’s captures at British record weights:
2001 - 59 lb 7 oz – Terry Glebioska
2001 - 59 lb 12 oz – Mark Toland
2001 - 61 lb – Gary Bayes
2002 - 61 lb 7 oz – Lee Jackson
2004 - 64 lb 5 oz – John Pack
2005 - 64 lb 14 oz – Simon Bater
2008 - 67 lb – John Bird
2008 - 67 lb 8 oz – Austin Oz Holness

I have caught 30" carp and left them die on the bank.

People come up and ask, can I have them.

Yes, take the lot.

Used to have a mate that could cook a carp as good as it gets.

Sadly, he has passed.

A Great Friend. T.G.

Hit em on the head Dog_ger. They may be rubbish but they take an age to die. It's not their fault they are what they are.

Hear, hear Kahuna

Dog_ger get a priest...they cost next to nothing and you can even make one easily enough.

Despatching them quickly is far better than watching them suffer a lingering death suffocating on the bank ...if you can't put them back and kill them then don't catch them.

You have to do it.
I'm no bleeding heart greeny (I shoot and I fish) but the fish shouldn't have to suffer more than it needs to. Sorry, but if you can't kill the thing mercifully, stop fishing.
