I totally agree, though I still think the worst payout I have ever heard was actually directed at me, at Woodville oval...

I was giving one of the Eagles players some friendly advise regarding his kicking for goal ;) when from out of nowhere, and completely unneccessarily I was assaulted with a "shut up ya minda" by an elderly female Eagles fan...

Oh the profanity....

Why we don't bring back capital punishment for people who murder defenseless 87 year olds.....
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Because State-sanctioned murder is still murder and the punishment neither deters nor rehabilitates.

one could also argue that the current penalty, imprisonment, also doesnt rehabilitate, yet that is the current practice, and eventually lets these scum back into society.

Unfortunately not all offenders are responsive to rehabilitation measures anyway.
And very few repeat offenders are. There are always some who will never be safe out in society.
What to do with them is the problem.

Why grid connected solar systems have to shutdown during a mains power outage.

Yes, I realise that feeding some decent amps into a power system is dangerous, especially if a crew has shutdown part of a network for maintenance, but surely implementing a one way isolator to prevent any power going into the grid in such situations is feasible???

My physics is a bit rusty but designing such a device that is failsafe when the is no power on the main side can't be that hard, can it?

Why either party over the last ten years has not made a genuine commitment to ensuring by, say, 2015, all new home and small office airconditioning units have to be solar powered.
