around the corner from our new house lives a bloke that is quite obviously a conspiracy theorist. he has big banners on his front fence warning of the dangers of flouride and chem trails (probably an anti vaxxer and flat earther too). rides a bike around with a trailer that is all covered in writing about it too. funniest part is, for a bloke supposedly worried about chem trails, he lives a stones throw from, and right under the flight path of the Raaf base......

part of me wants to strike up a conversation with him, the other part of me wants to have him locked up for his own safety.

He may be very intelligent. At the very least he'll give you a different perspective.
A mate of mine works with a bloke who thinks the Earth will be consumed by a solar flare, so he's bought a property outback complete with an airstrip and shelter. One day last year he came to work with a 4-litre bottle of water and a roll of aluminium foil for everybody who worked there (20-odd blokes) as he thought that week the Earth was going to be hit. I question his beliefs, but not his character. This fella is an engineer and one smart cookie.
I apologise.

Sounds like a nut job.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No

lol. this one is nowhere near as close as out "koala" friend was. and doesnt bother me in the slightest. im just partially intrigued at his thought processes of buying near the RAAF base, yet believing chem trails are poisoning us all. would have thought the Raaf is ground zero for that sort of thing if it were happening

The earth will indeed be consumed by the sun one day, we move closer to the sun all the time.

In about 3.5 billions years we'll be that much closer to the sun ( currently about 150,000,000 kms away ) that the sun will be 40% brighter melting ice caps, stripping all of the moisture from the face of the planet and making it uninhabitable.

I know a few blokes that have mentioned this, I think there's a group that reckons there's a conspiracy theory behind the planes that go across the sky leaving a line of smoke behind it.

That's the one, this morning has been an epic struggle.

As soon as I got here this morning ( a bit late), got halfway through my reports and then was called in for a random D&A test which seemed to take forever, it was funny as I was feeling as rough as guts.
