during this week my 2 yo daughter was takin to hospital with severe gastro... the docs were doin all the testing and couldnt decide what it was .. day 2 and things getting pretty stress..baby girl sleepin all day ... nit wanting any food or drink .. and then spots appearing on her body ... the doc said we will need to do lumber punch and test for meningitis and meningococcal

so i started thinkin S%^t but i said to the doc she had her meningococcal injection earlier this year ... the reply .... yeah thats good but that doesnt cover the strain in adelaide.......imagine my thoughts.....

any way after 3 days all is getting slightly better...

That would have to be one of the most ridiculous things i've ever heard. Hope everything is well with your daughter.

the vacine against meningococcal only protects against one strain of the virus, i dont think they have one for the rarer more dangerous one.
