Did anyone see the Westborough Church story on 60 minutes?

The other stories where good tonight. Feel sorry for the baby death and the missing Aussie lad.

Did 60 Minutes disclose if they paid Westboro for the interview? They seem to get around the country and have to be making money from somewhere, the cynic in me suggests that it may well be coming from media outlets who get a kick out of reporting on it...

I thought Liz Hayes portrayed them very well..... especially when she said "Stick your sign where the sun dont shine"

You just have to shake your head and laugh at those people.
Didn't think they needed to do a story on it. Any publicity is good publicity for cults like them, and it's exactly what they wanted.

What about the caged off area they were protesting in that was far from the public eye near the space launch and the bloke thought everyone could see him and he was getting his message across.

How could they rock up to a soldiers funeral and disrupt it with yelling soldiers are fags and the signs saying a dead soldier is a good soldier. I felt sorry for the guy who lost his son then had to put up with that at the funeral, his only chance to say goodbye to his son who was lost in action serving the country.
For their government to rule that this if 'freedom of speech' is a disgrace.

They definately have no compassion.
As far as the government is concerned, they're the reason his son was there in the first place. Now that's a disgrace!

The stupid thing about these nut jobs is that they only had 71 members in 2007 mainly direct descendants of their wacko Leader a disbarred attorney
