Yeah, I held out for hope as long as I could and then realized it will be easier to deal with the torment for a bit and then get on with life.

Yeah, I'll be keen for another bevvie some time, I wont have to drive this time as I'm living in Prospect so I'll be able to down a few pints and talk some shit.

i might have to crash at my brothers place in that case then :)

remind be not to warn him before time. reckon it will be better value if i just rock up drunk and invite myself in (he lives around the corner fro the reepham :) )

Me too now!! Yeah, it's easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission ;)

There's people around in worse situations, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Definitely overdue for a beer though mate.

Has the driver been found guilty of any of the charges?

Has the driver been found guilty of any of the charges?

No because there was an adjournment because the Lamborghini factory in Italy was closed due to the coronavirus.

They had the vehicle.

Lady here at work, her son turned 3 on Tuesday, poor little bugger has had nothing but ill health since he came into this world with some birth defects causing constant respiratory problems, now she finds out a growth removed from in his ear/brain cavity is cancerous and he starts treatment next week. Little bloke has never been healthy, but he's the happiest little boy you'll meet. Trucks, dinosaurs, all that boy shit he just loves and is always smiling. The world can be a nasty cruel place.

I guess when you're a kid who has always been sick, that is the norm and you don't know any better. Sometime kids can show us a better version of ourselves - how to cut through the bullshit and focus on having fun and being alive.

Without wanting to insert controversy, but the fact that this kind of stuff can affect little kids, and including the really horrible stuff like cancer/leukemia, defeats any argument that any sort of God exists.

Exactly, that's precisely his life from the day he came along, he's a remarkably stoic little spirit.

I lost my favourite uncle over the weekend, he was very retarded with a small vocab but I could communicate with him with ease.

He has struggled severely since my nanna died, so much so that he had stopped eating or drinking and spent all his time pining for my nanna as he didn't understand what death was.

As retarded as he was I could never give my grandparents a surprise visit, they lived a bit out from Mallalla and apparently when I got a few k's away he'd be bouncing about and wanting to sit on the front step and wait as he knew I was coming.

So many stories of reflection, a caring soul who always smiled despite what life threw at him, there were some real terrible occurrences when he was younger and with our health system.
