Missus is taking the kids back to the homeland this coming Saturday. I fear my lads are in for a fair culture shock over there, but I'm happy they'll be getting to meet family for the first time (missus will be too).

So I rate baching it for 3 weeks, but I struggle not seeing my kids when they go on a 2 day school camp, so kinda nervous about not seeing them for 3 weeks.

Where's the home land?

Facetime and photo's are incredibly helpful... Just occupy yourself as much as you can. First few days will be really tough and so are the last couple cause you are very excited to see them. Trust me it goes fast

I went to Elizabeth yesterday............................and survived.

I do tend to "check in" via facebook if I go there, that way they know where to start looking if I go missing.

You'll love it mate, with Facetime and everything else they have available in today's world you'll still be in touch.

I love it when the missus goes away, I make minimal mess, eat when I feel like, come and go as I please and enjoy the quiet house.

I generally dig up an old playstation game and fang out on that for a while free from criticism.

I remember when the old man was running out of credits my sister, brother and I had to have a meeting with a team of about 15 doctors, specialists and counsellors to prepare us for life after dad passes.

We were in his hospital room as two youngish nurses were bringing chairs and drinks in, prepping the room for such numbers, it was right then when the old man turns and says to me "Hey Col, you remember when I taught you how to wank?"
I just sunk my head down and said "Dunno dad, where's this going?"
"You liked it even more when I let you use your own dick" He replied.

The poor nurses didn't know what to do, they rushed out and completely lost their shit once they got in the corridor, the old man was pretty happy with himself.
