Depends on a lot of things such as food eaten, etc and especially how regular you drink. I'm actually feeling a bit of fuzziness now after 3 pints where a month ago I'd probably need 12 for that. Maybe it was the Chilli beer beforehand
I've actually found since I gave up smoking 4 months ago that I get pissed quicker too.

Because you're drinking quicker by not interrupting it with the ciggies.

Yeah but it felt like I used to drink quicker while having a puff but I suppose now instead of drink, puff, drink, puff it's drink, drink, drink, drink.

I've got a 6 pack in the fridge ready to try.
Feel a bit embarrassed that I've never tried Pirate Life as their HQ is closer to my house than any pub is.
Usually prefer keg or bottled beer but willing to give them a go.

I hadn't been to Dan Murphy's for years before today, wow, there's a lot of beers there now!

Cans still have a stigma because it used to be what the cheapest beer was in but apparently it is way better as it stops light getting in, is easier to store and transport, cheaper, etc

I've always found it tastes different because of the preservatives put into cans, even heard something like sulphuric acid was used. Having said that I did go through a stage in my early 20s when I preferred can beer.

Cans, bottles and kegs all have the same beer added, no extra preservatives or anything else. Honestly the different taste is all in your head. Over time fepending on storage conditions the flavour may differ a little bit between them.

It does matter for vessel conditioned beers like coopers pale as there is different headroom in the bottle/can

But that’s minor compared to most people’s perceptions

Vessel conditioned beers can taste different. Rolling or tipping a coopers will taste different (and better) than one that is not, same as the start and end of the keg are not the same. Temperate can play a part of taste in some beer styles as well. All this talk of beer is making me thirsty now

No doubt it is the same beer but there is definitely differing tastes depending on what you drink them from.

The Corona cans are dreadful in comparison to the bottles.

Even West End has varying tastes via can, bottle or keg.

I've got Asahi Soukai in the fridge at present. I was just curious when I saw it and it is not bad.

Tasteless rubbish like Super Dry and Corona, might as well as drink soda water.

I like Super Dry actually but agree Corona is a bit bland.
I probably wouldn't buy the Soukai again.

But beer is getting a bit "So many beers, so little time!" these days.

Anyone tried furphy’s beer?
I drank it down at Robe over Easter and it wasn’t too bad.

Normally don’t like the fruitier beers but this wasn’t too bad.

It was a bit like the Coopers session ale but better.
