Others have been talking about a thread for restaurant and bar reviews, so here it is!

Post your reviews of places you eat or drink, so that we may go and annoy you the next time you are there ;)

The Gen Y among us probably have photos too so dont be shy to share

Raffles Chinese restaurant that was across from the TTG hotel was the best chinese food I have had in Adelaide.

Any idea what that place has or is turning into?
I hear it was sold a little while ago.

Ok, for those of us that live way our norf, I highly recommend the newly opened Golden Fleece in Gawler. Used to be the Old Spot which was a horrible old bikie pub, but it has been completely renovated and it is pretty awesome there.

Food is american style similar to the Louisiana Tavern but is quite a lot better than the Louie.

they also have quite a range of craft and local beers, try the "Ranga Tang" from clare, it is really good.

Good thread,

Mrs.Boon purchased an "Entertainment Book" earlier this year with various eateries offering up to 30% discount ( up to $30 value ) around the city.

So far we have used most of the Port side / West side vouchers.

The Bartley, The Newmarket ( Port Adelaide ), The Port Dock, The Lighthouse, The Dockside, The Birkenhead, The Exeter ( Semaphore Road ), Sullys Cafe ( Semaphore Road - highly recommended for breakfast!! ), The Red Ass ( Semaphore Road ).

Many of these are, simply, just pubs. The stand outs are the Birkenhead and Sullys.

We normally hit somewhere for a meal on a Thursday, this thread should be good as we look to head North / City bound more often.

Mrs. Boon selects the venue from the book......typically after we've driven past several others that look like "nah, I don't wanna go there".

KEFI - Greek Cuisine,
Tapleys Hill Rd, Glenelg North.
If you don't book, you won't get in.
DO NOT order entrees, I've never seen bigger mains anywhere!
Only open Thurs-Sun, currently closed for mid year break until late August.
Best restaurant in the Bay by a mile.

Yep. Blue & White Cafe and the North Adelaide Burger Bar both do a good one .
