Mind you if you took her to the Reepham to eat perhaps it's a safety thing as you might have a better understanding of what's not going to kill someone.

A shame, they used to have a really good chef there, was a great bloke too who always gave me freebies.

She reads the menu 4 times over then reads it upside down and backwards and still can't choose.

Women are good at many things but ordering dinner ain't one of them.

I think it's awful, would be no different to telling her what to do in any aspect of life.
Smacks of a control freak completely disrespecting his gal IMHO and something I couldn't imagine doing as I'm such a good guy.

Instead of taking his partner out for a nice meal and helps her pick off of the menu, instead he stays home and forces her to cook him a meal. Then makes her do the dishes after while he has a nap on the couch.

Women I've been with in my life have all been quite capable of ordering their own meals, maybe there's a class of women out there I have just never spent time with. I find it hard to think it's a gender issue though, that would be sexist.
