Best Dog Rolls in Adelaide???

I am just looking to find where people go for their dog rolls. A few of my mates swear their specific location makes "The best in Adelaide" and I have recently seen one business post that on the advertisement.

One or two times a week I make a slight detour when having a late start at work and always go to the one on Prospect Rd (across from Ampol and near the TAB) and have done now for about 5 or 6 years. My standard order is the Roast Pork roll and keep that coriander shit away from it. For $5 it always does the job.

But alas it is time to broaden my horizons and start my dog roll challenge. Any suggestions???

There's a deli down the road from my Glynde office (cnr Barnes and Marian rd) that does a roll and softie combo for $8. Not huge rolls, but tasty.

Cafe Saba up the road from my home does a bigger sized one for about $8.

Those are the two I frequent.

There's a small shop on Hanson Rd on the left heading North before Grand Junction. I have been there a couple of times and there is always Police in there lining up for their lunch.

Cheers Arch, I know the location as I worked in Athol Park in the late 90s. Its also pretty much on my work travel route. I will give it a crack in the next week or two.

Tay Do, across from the back carpark at the new Big W entrance at Arndale. Right on the round-a-bout.

$4.50 and if they like you they pack them. Also they do awesome spring rolls.

Know this area well. My order of preference :

Next to the Royal Hotel on Henley Beach Road - Banh Mi Cafe - The best in the area, taken the mantle from Hang in the Torrensville Plaza. Chicken cold rolls made fresh in front of you, excellent. Combo rolls outstanding.

Corner Henley Beach and Airport Roads - I like the pork warm, these guys do it well. Big rolls, filled with trimmings. Gone ahead of Hangs too.

Hang Bakery - Torrensville Plaze Shopping Centre - They were the best around the place, but have gone down hill quick. Smaller rolls, wait an eternity for your lunch. Fast losing their appeal.

New one opposite the Mile End Hotel in the little group of shops. - Nice clean shop, assistant cute, but just stay away from there. No good at all.

And then you can meet Spargo for lunch. He likes to park at the end of the runway and watch the planes take off. I believe he is a bit of an aviation enthusiast.

The cold rolls at Pho Linh on Bagster Road at Salisbury North are awesome too.
