So much dry land out there, it wouldn't take much to go up and get out of control.

We live right next to a empty paddock as well
Have the hoses hooked up and ready to go just in case some dickhead tries something overnight

Good to hear about the Cudlee Creek place, never been there but sounds like they have some unusual and rare animals.

Sounds like it was the Tea Tree Gully kennels just out of Inglewood.
Imagine it would be one of their busiest times too, owners would devastated, and as well as the poor animals and their owners
