How are Cans easier to recycle?
I just chuck my empties in a big bag near the bin and when it's full, I take to the recycling depot for my $40 each time.

You don't stack them and count them before you go do you, like my tight ar$e old man does? ;)

squash them and more fit in the same space. my recycling trips are normally around $140 ;)

I do stack them back into their boxes, I have a lined wheelie bin for my cans and another for plastic bottles, it's far easier squishing them into the car opposed to borrowing a ute or trailer.

The recycling depots I used to go to used to love it, saved heaps of time and was in an out in a fraction of the time that people who did otherwise.

I dont drink at home these days but if I have any empties I just throw them in the yellow bin, too lazy.

If you want to come over to our place and go through our bin like some homeless guy does for about $2 a fortnight you're welcome to.

Look, dont get me wrong, when I felt the need to drink at home when I lived with my ex and went through a couple of cartons a week of Little Creatures a week I put them back in their boxes and took them to the recycling depot when I had a car full and spent the money on another carton or two.
Luckily I'm in a much happier place these days and never feel the need to drink at home so its not worth the effort. Shame though as we have dozens of boxes of wine that my missus gets for free as she works for a wine company, we give away most of it.

I've had people come look through my bin for cans/bottles - i just tell them if they really want them, they're over there (*point to pile end of driveway*) go take them.

Why? Coz i'm too bloody lazy to load the car and take to the depot anyway

I've been drinking the odd Leo up here the past week or so. Same wouldn't bother with it at home. San Mig Light is awesome ice cold from a bottle, but average from a can.
