So when the US, Russia, etc test their own weapons, do they only shoot them off within their own territories? Nope. One was launched from Cal. and landed near the Marshall Islands near the equator.

How do they know their missiles can reach Nth Korea?

I don't think anyone should have nuclear weapons. But we are in a nuclear alliance with the US. A country that has over 7,000 nuclear missiles. And here we are, getting all worked up that a country wants to have a couple that work.

Meanwhile, the US, the only country to ever actually use nuclear weapons on another country, is fine to do this.
