Got 5 nights on a house boat in mid-Feb, can't wait.

Lunch, doing a riverboat cruise in Brisbane, should be quite nice sipping ales watching the city go past.
Then onto the pig and whistle for a session before sleep and preparing for tomorrows cruise departure.

How big is that friggin bridge? It freaked me out driving towards it, it appears to never stop going up.

Which bridge? The Story Bridge? Never really thought about it but I have been here about 30 times and only driven around here once. Im usually in the CBD.
After driving over the West Gate bridge several times no other bridge really has me in awe.
Maybe one day Ill drive on the Hong Kong to mainland China or Macau bridge, that would freak me out.

The Sir Leo Hielscher Bridges, I've been on the Westgate Bridge many times, the first time was in my grandfather's truck and it was windy as that day so he decided to tell how it collapsed during construction, it seemed to sway with the wind.

The one over the Brisbane River just seemed massive, I had seen it from a distance but it was nothing compared to approaching it via the road.

Ahhhh, never been over it, always stayed around the CBD/Spring Hills and have headed straight north or south out of town.

Might see it today on the tour of the river if not tomorrow from the ship. Will see if I can get in a pic with it if I do. ;)

Having a bat today. Last week we rolled the other mob for 103, and we are 1/76 in reply. I bat at #4, and had the pads on for 25 overs but didn’t get a hit. Skip says he wants to knock the runs over inside 10 overs, probably only bat for another 5 and whack them in again. So it’s a license to go the tonk!
