In 2 weeks time heading back to SA for the weekend (although I am back next Tuesday for a few meetings) a few beers at Tullamarine, lad picking me up when I land in Adelaide. Staying at his place Friday night, do the Barker Parkrun Sat am. Then head to watch him play a home game in the local footy in the arvo, catch a few cricket mates for a froth at the game. Player Auctions Sat night, then Sunday watch the future DIL go through the hoops in the womens game. Catch up with mum (who would have started some chemo by then) Sunday night on the way back to the airport.

That would be great but don’t think I can squeeze it in this time around.

That's a shame, it's a Sunday game at Woodville, I might have even made the effort to say hello since Woodville is a 5 min walk from my pub.

Fair enough, a fair hike from Woodville.
I used to love/hate playing cricket at Kangarilla, loved it as it was a great spot, hated it because we always lost finals there lol.

Never played footy or cricket at Kangy. Watched my lad play footy there and umpired a few times.... it was always raining though!

Found some cruisers and a bottle of sparkling red in the back of the fridge. Leg openers arranged!
