We are heading up in 2 weeks time and have already booked into the Pt Hughes Tavern, they have a comedy night so should be good fun.

i think ALH or another big group purchased the pubs in Moonta about 2-3yrs ago.

Work is putting on a farewell for me tonight, should be epic.

Hopefully they tell me to not worry about coming back for Monday and Tuesday.

You'll probably get less sense out me than what you do on here, it's at the Alehouse.

You’re up early, doing the early morning walk of shame?

I thought you’d be in a coma still

Na, apart from finding my shirt on the ground out the back I got through unscathed and ready to roll for round 2 with a big day of punting at the V.

I’m just waiting for someone to come and cook some breakfast though, I can’t believe they have jumped at the opportunity to cook for hungover me and to have the pleasure of driving me to my next destination.

A fresh start, it's been such an anxious drag since I knew I was leaving, I've drank more than I generally would have as I've been so anxious and wanting time to pass quicker.

Really feeling it today, I am getting old. Had my work farewell Friday night, had a solid day at the V on Saturday and then jumped into an Uber to kick on when I shouldn't have, got an open inspection on Wednesday so I asked my cleaner to come and give my house a woman's clean as I just couldn't be arsed.

I tried to have a couple of beers with her once she finished but they were going down like nails despite being as cold as they could get without being frozen.

Does anyone else north of 40 feel crapper on Monday than Sunday after a big Saturday sesh?

I'm not north of 40 yet but yep i always do.

My eating habits go by the wayside on a hungover Sunday, i might even nap longer than usual and laze around so my sleep sunday night is pretty average. Might even have the extra coffee on a hungover Sunday.

Havent drank this year so far so feeling good however.
