If people don't agree with it, demonising thems not going to change their opinion.

It's an opinion poll thats going to have very little effect on what the government actually does.

I think everyone should just keep their mouths shut, vote whatever you want, and move on.

didnt tony abbott say that this was about free speech?

I don't give a f**k what Tony Abbott says.

We dont have free speech in Australia.

Yep. Look at what happened at the Uni in Sydney the other day. Its people like that who will stuff it up for the yes campaign. A lot of people now changing their vote to no because of it.

There are idiots on both sides - both lots should be ignored in favour of voting for what you believe to be fair and just.

If you don't like gay marriage, why not just like, not marry someone who is gay...?

I understand not liking gay marriage, I don't like dudes and would never marry one. I also don't like Tuna, but wouldn't try and tell someone else who does that they can't eat it.

Cannot comprehend voting no.

You cannot comprehend voting no, but some people can. Just like they don't tell you you have to like tuna, you should not tell them they should like gay marriage.

Let everyone vote how they see fit.

I don't, they can not like gay marriage, like me, and still vote yes.

Simply because you might not like something doesnt mean you cant exhibit empathy and enable others something they might need or want.

I just wonder if there is a little bit of what happened in the US with Trump here. The yes vote seems strong but maybe the no's are laying low and not show casing the full hand at the moment. The final numbers on this will be very interesting.

According to it, we're going to have a plebiscite on SSM later this year

And even worse. They want to track demographics.

I’m straight I have no issues with gay people marrying women and women or man and man .
Doesn’t affect me one little bit .
I don’t understand Turnbull not making a decision why are they voted into government they are paid to make a decision.
Honestly it costs more money to send the letter out to every one it’s not us voting on gay marriage it’s us saying yes or no to the Feds so they can vote .
I hope this shows Australia this government is just treading water wasting money .
