Not a fan of tabouli, I had a yiros one day and a piece got stuck in my sinus, it was an insane sensation, it just wouldn't dis-lodge, my eyes was pissing out with tears and it felt like a blow fly was inside my head LOL

Took about 25 minutes to defeat it, my colleagues thought it was great.

Felt like a steak the other night so I stopped in at the Churchill Centre and they had whole rump's for $7.50 per kilo @ Murray Valley Meats.

Always sceptical buying whole so I cooked it very slow and it was great.

The wife insisted that she does a great braised steak and onion, I told her to go for it and no shit the sauce was identical to the Tom Piper cans, the meat just melted in your mouth, not bad for a rushed job, she has he gig for Sunday now too!

As a young lad I stocked up on them cans for emergency lunches......................along with the rice cream cans.

Oh yeah, same here. I was a much bigger fan of the Kraft braised steak & onion, unfortunately they stopped making it years ago.

Yep, I reckon they were the ones, I got confused as Tom Piper have the same coloured cans now, I wonder if they bought the brand? A lot of similarities in the packaging.

I think people our age all grew up eating it.
I’d hate to think what it was in it but best not think about it.
