Sadly only one of those stars is still alive
I met Terry and Daryl at Angle Park dogs last century
Terry a very very funny man, with lots of yarns
Daryl , well you could not believe he was a rock star , a very humble and sincere bloke
I once bowled a full over to Booney in a cricket match , he was that good I couldnt get him out

What do you mean "sadly"?

I met Billy Thorpe at his book signing - legendary bloke.
Adelaide GP - Nigel Mansell took the time to have a 5 minute chat with me when I was only 12 or 13.
Billy Connolly came up to me in Rundle Mall circa 1993 to comment on my tie
Planted one on Adalita’s lips after a Magic Dirt gig at the Holdy early 2000’s
K.D. Lang bought us a round of drinks at the Seacliff one day for keeping quiet she was there
I worked in a pub John Platten part owned early 2000’s - would not meet a better bloke.
2017 safooty NFL tipping champ
2024 champ, Spargo’s Good Friday Cup @ Ascot

The whole Platten family are great people, they throw a pretty extravagant Christmas Day party, they all love a beer too, you're dead right about Johnny.

Billy Thorpe would be an interesting one, definitely a bloke I'd like to have a few pints to and just simply listen.

TJ got me aside when I went and tried out for TTGDCC, he was brutal and upfront "You're that young left arm quick from Elizabeth aren't you? A bit of a loose cannon I hear?"

I had a mate who worked there at the time. He took me behind the bar and right up next to the stage where no one else was, filled a large bucket with MB’s on ice & away we went! One of the best live acts I’ve ever seen.

I'm pretty boring on this front, but from memory:

- Met the skipper from Gilligans Island on a flight to Toronto nearly 40 years ago
- Got to plant one on Sophie Lee at the Lakes Hotel nearly 30 years ago
- Met Bozza in a Cab lineup at the Crown after the 2011 GF, ripper bloke, we crapped on for ages over a dart or two
- Met John Howard before a mates wedding early 2000's, he was friendly as, even posed in several photos with all the Groomsmen
- Got a great photo of a mate and I with Sunny McKay (Australia's most famous adult entertainer at the time) from the Horse in the early 90's. Sadly the photo didn't survive the rage of my then girlfriend when she found it.
