I’ve got a flight to Singapore booked on Oct 3rd and everything I’m hearing through the industry is that domestic travel might be opening up by August but possibly the end of the year before International travel kicks off. I’m still holding out hope though

Hearing similar mate. We've got a flight to Singapore on NYE, crossed fingers.

From Geoffrey Robertson in the Weekend Australian.... and I paraphrase.

“The world is turning upside down at the moment and I’d like to see it put right.....Coronavirus took us by surprise and it has certainly added another element (to world concerns). But one thing that makes me optimistic about humankind is this counterfactual capacity for kindness. And I think that, in a way, Coronavirus has spread that sense of carefulness and consideration for other people, which is the only way we’re going to survive it”.

Got to say pretty annoyed

This whole lockdown stuff is to protect primarily the older generation. Fair call yeah.

Today I go up as one person to our Woolworths, drive down the Main Street and it’s full of oldies with no care in the world for social distancing. Hugs a plenty, sitting on the benches together, most looked liked tourists.
You would have thought it was Easter holidays!

If your not going to help yourself why the hell are we bothering

Whilst the oldies are most at risk, there’s plenty who aren’t elderly that are also vulnerable, and even younger ones can end up with some pretty nasty issues from this. Certainly get your point and how annoying it is to see people of all ages flaunting the spread of it though.

Clearly ScoMo’s fault..... he hasn’t explained social distancing in yards/feet apart.

On Twitter from Kane Cornes

So we have done 190,000 tests, 3,573 confirmed, 14 deaths (.39%) and 170 recovered. Despite the hyteria (tic) surely Australia is doing pretty well

Glad he is an expert and cant even spell
