I haven't read this yet but if you have some time, this Paper discusses eating strange animals in China and viruses.
The sender told me they predicted a SARS like pandemic would happen again

I am yet to find one on the US Army having a biological weapon to do the same but it would be unusual for the Chinese State media to get it wrong

I thought that was talking about the global stockmarkets

Here's one about economies: https://edition.cnn.com/2020/03/16/econ ... index.html

Interesting that China's retail sales were down 20.5%. Ours are probably up! Its a dub rub led recovery!

What constitutes a test? Just taking temperatures and asking questions about where you’ve been, or is that genuine clinical tests?

My understanding it constitutes a positive for COVID-19, so a genuine test.

Which, given the low rate of testing in SA, means there's probably way more than 50 positives currently in the State.

I spoke with my GP today and she said they don’t have enough test kits (or whatever they are) .. Actually inferred that they don’t have anywhere near the amount they will likely need.

Mrs Jimmy got a sore throat this week + I came home from OS, with a dry cough,14 days before.
She rang the doctor and they said not enough reason to get tested.
Fortunately, 4 days later she’s getting better + no fatigue or other symptoms

Bloke at work has had the full year after coming back from Bali. They take a throat swab from somewhere well past the gag point and a nasal swab which he said felt like it was up near the brain...

Doesn't sound like a test i want to be lining up for in a hurry

Looks like the UK & Europe have the same issue.

The company overnight agreed to reduce the bitrate for video streams across Europe and the United Kingdom for the next 30 days after discussions with EU commissioner Thierry Breton.

“Following the discussions between commissioner Thierry Breton and Reed Hastings – and given the extraordinary challenges raised by the coronavirus – Netflix has decided to begin reducing bit rates across all our streams in Europe for 30 days,” a spokeswoman told Guardian Australia
