In this case it is deemed as being a 30 unit penalty.

You really are a wealth of information.
I only remember that as I asked a Vic cop mate about the streaker at the MCG cricket one day and the penalty shown on the scoreboard was a weird odd number

Victoria has recorded 439 new cases and 11 deaths overnight.

The ADF door-knocked more than 3,000 homes of people who tested positive - and found 800 people weren't home. A new on-the-spot fine of $4,659 will apply to those caught breaching isolation.

They obviously dont care

How did they come up with that odd amount? $4,659

It will pay for 3 JobSeeker claims, with a bit left over for admin charges? :-k

Daniel Andrews has announced a permit system for Greater Melbourne, requiring people to show papers to authorities when they’re out and about for legitimate work reasons.

“People will have a piece of paper that says, ‘This is where I work, this is what I do’,” he said.

“This is old-fashioned common sense. It’s a piece of paper. Your employer fills it out. They sign it. You sign it.

“You carry it with you and then you’re able to demonstrate so there’s not a sense of anxiety or a sense of having to tell your story 17 times. If you’re pulled up by police, you can simply provide that piece of paper and then you would be waved on to go about your business.”

So looks like we won't be going to Cairns in September. Jetstar should give us a credit for our flights if QLD and SA are in lockdown by then yeah?
So you've seen everything have you?

I wouldn't think that it will be long before we're banned from going there and there's no way I'm heading up there to self isolate for 14 days and then do the same when I get back to SA..

I heard this morning that this was a false positive.

Fingers crossed the Melbourne situation is enough to send a rocket up the arse of those in SA who don't want to abide.

Already getting the feeling at work that the Clare community is once again on high alert and taking coronavirus a bit more serious than it was a couple of weeks ago.

Unfortunately , a fair percentage of the flogs in Melbourne don't seem to give a shit. 800 of 3000 out and about and not isolating at home. No wonder the place has gone to shit.
