Admin, how about banning this idiot.
Surely he is allowed an opinion.
The whole thing is getting beyond a joke.
Currently standing in a line with a thousand possibly Covid infected folk in 34 degree heat with no shade for 4hrs just to get a test that allows me to return to a state with bugger all cases just in case I catch Covid in the 48hrs I’m here for

I agree it is a dog's breakfast atm and sympathise with you re Covid testing queues. I also agree he deserves an opinion. Doesn't deserve to have his loony rants and conspiracy theories aired though. Shows no regard for his fellow citizens, (but remember he questions whether those who have been vaxxed are even human any more) and brags about flouting the rules/advice.

Yep, pubs and restaurants back to 1 per 4m. Basically a third of what we have today, as of midnight tonight. Going to stuff up a lot of places for NYE especially if tix have been sold already.
Gyms are 1 per 7m.

Seriously WTF will those restrictions do?
There is no way it will have any effect on anything and you couldnt possibly think it would, its about control.
This is only going one way, theyre conditioning us for a lockdown in the new year.

Are we trying to live with it or not?

"were trying to save lives" Theres no indication anyone is dying from it FFS

I always had the feeling that SA overall supported what Marshall & his government had done in the past 2 years, but that is certainly not the case in the past few weeks.

I have no idea what they are doing now.

Why now?
We knew there’d be more cases once we opened.
What has changed the last few days?

Bloody ridiculous to change rules now

I think both sides of the discussion can agree it really is a dog's breakfast.
Life was so much better/easier prior to Nov 23.

Quick question with the new restrictions limited to 10 people, do kids under 12 count in the 10 or are they not counted?

We’ve got to start living with this.

With it being New Years it’s too kate to stop plans for businesses

Should be double vaxxed only and mandatory masks when standing up.

Venues that want to open should have a plan that requires additional check in staff that means you have to show a double vax cert to get in.

Surely having double the patrons spending $$$ and employing 4-6 extra staff is more profitable over the night.

Also serves as a reward for the over 85% of te population that have done the right thing this year.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
