I have read plenty of doctors' advice recommending Panadol and ibuprofen so if you were attempting to disparage pharmacy advice; it was misdirected.

Also, I think I have misinterpreted your labelling of the value of vitamins as a "fantasy" when you take B12. Sounds like a contradiction. The medical world has done a complete turn around on the benefits of vitamins in the past 20 years. It's much better to help your body's natural systems than having to get shit stuck in you or parts cut out which is where doctors make their money

Diary of Covid+ Unvaccinated Person

Day 1: Sunday
Started feeling chills in the afternoon
RAT test negative
Progressively worsened until I went to bed around 11pm
Took Panadol
Fever and chills all night

Day 2: Monday
Woke up with fever, chills and aches
No loss of taste or smell
Took Panadol & Nurofen, vitamins & aqueous magnesia + ascorbic acid (magnascorb)
Slept til 2pm
RAT test negative (so I assumed I had the flu not specifically C-19)
Still had fever, chills and joint & muscle aches
Interesting that the aches were mainly in old sporting injuries (which is a bit of a misnomer (like covid deaths) because most of my sporting injuries occured "with" sport not because "of" sport (ie) after sport activities
Reduced appetite
Upped the Nurofen dose because of the muscle pains

Day 3: Tuesday
PCR test in the morning
Fever, chills and joint & muscle aches subsiding until late afternoon when almost gone
Sore throat begins
No loss of taste or smell
Continue with Panadol & Nurofen, vitamins, magnascorb + add in gargling Betadine
Positive PCR test comes back
RAT test positive now
Mrs Jimmy makes a high chilli hot dinner that canes the throat but, lo and behold, the sore throat disappears a few hours. Covid must not like Capsaicin

Day 4: Wednesday
Better night sleep but still have sore throat
No pains, fever or chills
No loss of taste or smell
Continue with Panadol & Nurofen, vitamins, magnascorb + Betadine
Sore throat only symptom - not good but not the worst I've had
Start work from home after lunch
Sore through down to 10% by 11pm

Day 5: Thursday
12 hours sleep
No loss of taste or smell
No more sore throat or other symptoms other than I know I'll need a sleep this afternoon
Continue with Panadol & Nurofen, vitamins, magnascorb + Betadine
WFH all day

To top it off just now: Receive a phone call from SA Health with an offer to participate in their next human experiment because I'm unJabbed and C-19+. No thank you - I didn't have your first ineffectual snake oil; why would I go anywhere near your new one?

I was thinking more of the vitamin pushing than the Panadol etc. though NSAIDS like ibuprofen can cause gastric erosion in some people.
I take B12 because I have a proven deficiency on blood testing due to an absorption problem. That is follow up to several IM doses, after which my levels slowly declined again.

Nobody needs vitamin and mineral supplements unless a blood test demonstrates there is that sort of problem, and excessive intake of some vitamins can cause toxicity. B6 for example has been established as a health risk, and excess mineral intake can damage the kidneys. Marginal D deficiency may occur in winter here, and year round in some less sunny environments, but huge doses are not entirely safe either. I saw a woman once with odd visual problems and low mood, and blood testing revealed very high levels of Vitamin A, which her Herbalist and Pharmacist had been encouraging her to buy and take!

Woolies don't own any pubs anymore but if you're talking about ALH pubs everyone at my regular has had it, staff and customers, except for me!
Staff have been doing crazy hours to cover for others!
Was one of the first covid hotspots too!
But I was probably the only one that had had 4 jabs.
Same with my current work but once again I'm the only one with 4 jabs.
