Easy to get in, near on impossible to get out. Borders are officially shut outbound with some exceptions granted. A couple of our senior execs have gone OS in the last month and it cost a packet

think i may email the fed government and ask for a pro rata refund once we are finally able to use them again. not that ill get anywhere with that request, but it may make me feel better

$4.12 million per case is good value for an LNP contract

November 1 was the first day in 5 months the country reported zero cases of community transmissions.

We've shown the rest of the world how to hold this thing at bay. Fantastic effort by all.

Just had a plane go over head at my joint, such a weird sound after all these months.

Usually its a very common noise out where I live, while we are a good 20-25k's from Tulla, they swing out this way on final approach.

They are not scrapping the roof tops or anything, and usually its just all part of the noise living in Metro Melbourne....... very different from the sleepy Adelaide Hills where I used to live.

On another note, certainly plenty of people out & about on the weekend, and with 0 cases today I hope that more restrictions will ease soon. That said it will be another week or so before we see what the outcome of the first set of easing really is, in terms of cases.

Surely it's time to get rid of this travel restriction:

If you travel to SA by air, you MUST NOT transit via a Victorian airport.

I'll give it til the end of November, and all being equal, very few cases - then all internal domestic borders open.

Jan 2021 - Travel bubble between Aust to NZ, and maybe Singapore, plus a few other Asian countries with Covid under control.

June 2021 - at the earliest before the USA, Europe tec come back online.

China - leave those bastards til last.

Doubt US is next year and everything we are hearing internally at work from Joyce is that Europe will be August at earliest.
NZ by January and Singapore, Taiwan and South Korea potentially by March/April with Japan possibly around then aswell

Interesting that Spirit of Tasmania is promoting $99 trips from Melbourne to Tassie, obviously only open to non-Victorians, reading the small print SA/NSW residents have to drive straight from the border to the dock, only allowed to stop for petrol - wonder how many are bothering with all that?
