Last week 1x daughter tests positive.. rest of the family negative. 7 days isolation.
Monday follow up test, two daughters positive.. rest of the family negative.

Today, day 6 test - get a negative I’m in the clear..

I’m negative .. rest of the family positive.

10x days isolation for them.
14x days isolation for me.

How the **** is that fair?!? I’ve been negative in 3 tests and I’ve got to isolate LONGER than the sick ****

Well, you may pick it up from one of them and be trailing behind them, and thus still be infectious after they have had time to recover...

So with all the new rules has anyone here worked out what happens with a positive case and kids and others in your house?

Yes Stan gas the bug. Just feel like I have a bad head cold. The body aches really brought back the old man thing though.

Anyway if anyone has this all worked out please let me know.

My experience from positive case in the household, this from last Friday though. Positive person isolates for 10 days from test, other household members 14 days from said test. If somebody in the house is a critical worker then they can attend work providing they have no symptoms.

Surprised to hear that. They were damned if they did and damned if they didn't, but if they were clever they might have engineered it so he could play, but get him to promote the governments COVID agenda.

I know, what a load hey.

Next time I think I just need to go with red tins. Surely that would do the job.

Well that's true. It would seem red tins aren't the solution we have been looking for.

Thats what I thought as well, however it does look like this has changed and it's back to 7 days as per close contact but someone tests positive they get 10 days and the rest of the close contacts 7 days iso starts again.

Looks like everyone else in the house has symptoms now and the RAts are all over the place. Went and got a PCR done just to be sure but likely we all have it here now.

Mine has turned out as a bad head cold, the kids are running and jumping around he house kicking balls around.

Just to add to this now. One kid has gone down hill but the other one is fine. Has a temp and is a bit rough now. Other one is in the back yard kicking a footy around.

Friends of ours also have it and the kids as well and they have no symptoms at all.

I can confidently say up on the Gold Coast, no one gives a rats arse. Everywhere packed, could count the
Masks on one hand.

In isolation for the next, however many days... can't figure out how long...

One of the teachers came down to stay at our place in Goolwa on Wednesday night. She tested positive yesterday.

So myself, the missus and girls are close contacts, our boys aren't.

We registered for the RATs today and both Mrs Jase and I are negative... so not sure when we are all clear.

Does the 7 days start from when we were with the positive case or is it 7 days from today?
