All world leaders need to just shut down the world for 4-5 weeks.
Everything, except emergency services, military (to help enforce) and supermarket staff to process online orders only (no stores open)
Just shut it down and after the 4-5 week period is over and it's all gone, go back to business as usual
As much as i think a lot of this situation is madness i 100% agree with you. Just lock us all down and get it over and done with ffs.
I cant understand why we are taking these baby steps when we know what point we are going to end at. One theory i hear though is that we are currently in a position where the government is giving everyone a chance to get home in preparation for the 'lockdown'. That i suppose makes a bit of sense to me.
Ok so if we were to lockdown completely at what point would it be ok to open up Australia and start letting people come in? Then if we have another outbreak do we lockdown again?
Do we need infection to build immunity?
I dont have the answers, just posing the question
I agree with all this mate but i have come to terms with the fact we are inevitably going to be locked down.
Agree at how do they come to a conclusion at what number of infected people is 'ok' especially when you take into account soonish there will be the common cold/flu getting around as well.
I feel like to the lockdown will be the 'final' act. They cant keep everyone locked down for 3,6,12 months. If a two week or month lockdown doesn't work we will have to just live life knowing this is a risk. At least we will have some closure on this though.
