Speed limit on tapleys Hill Rd directly out front of airport is reducing from 80km to 60kmh end of the month

That's true once the sun comes up, but at 5am plenty of cars are doing 100kmh

I don't envy you or anyone else that tries to do the speed limit that uses that part of the road frequently. The same goes for the Elder Smith Road bridge, if it's ever changed from 60 to 50 it wouldn't matter because again people seem to be allergic to doing 60 whilst going over the bridge.
