Butter

Discussing an episode of the 100 last night with family and friends, which posed the question of whether you butter (bread/toast) before applying Peanut Butter - Was staggered to see %98 of the polled people did.

One friend I spoke to said butter is applied to bread in all cases, including pre-Nutella, and I just can’t cop this.

For research purposes, what are posters buttering habits ..

Peanut Butter?
Nutella?
Jam?

I rarely use butter on any form of bread and Peanut butter and nutella are in the same category as Mince PIes...

if i have jam, i would suggest 80% of the time its just jam. but perhaps im just lazy to apply the butter

If I'm having bread or a bread roll by itself I have butter but if I have anything else on bread (Vegemite, Peanut Butter, Jam) or Bread rolls (I often take Salami/Ham, cheese, tomato and onion rolls to work) I never have butter on it.

Vegemite and a sharp flavoured cheese on my toast is my choice for beginning breakfast - no butter usually - though the wife sometimes puts some on to it when she serves it to me as breakfast in bed.
