This question applys to men and woman but I will separate men and woman in the answers to see if they have different views.

In a relationship where you and your partner are married or there is an understanding that you will be together forever and that you will stick together no matter what and during the relationship it comes out be it through honesty or volunteering that one partner has had one sexual encounter with a third party

Would you rather it be you having done it and never know if ur partner ever will truly love you the same way again even though they are staying with you

or

your partner doing it to you and you being hurt and angry forever

I reckon its a very tough one.

Had to laugh about that one I saw in the Sunday Mail yesterday where a girl's boyfriend cheated on her with her best friend and she dumped the boyfriend, which is fair enough, but forgave the friend - what a laugh, it was probably her friend that instigated it !!!!!!

Tough situation either way, you probably face rage on one side (being the cheated) as opposed to guilt on the other (the cheater) ... At the end of the day to save a relationship with an unfaithful party both sides need to find an acceptance of it before moving ahead otherwise you might aswell pull the pin ASAP and not waste the time!

what about when your (me) having/had an affair & the girl tells you they have an open relationship so its ok as long as its not shown in front of the girls (kids) ?? mind you it all changed when he found out

if polls cant find snatches then they are with the palmer family

Tell your partner but tell her that it is only sex & nothing meaningful & with any luck, your partner will invite her over & you can watch the 2 of them GET IT ON! Then, of course through natural progression, you will join in with the sticky stuff & a video camera.
