NYC transit strike

the deadline has passed and the TWU have said that strikes will occur throughtout the day...and since i have to take a subway and the Long Island RR to get to work, looks like i will be having the day at home (altho still working)...:D

Interesting to read and hear about Jimmy.
Looks like some heads will roll somewhere along the food chain going on some of the nasty comments by some fairly powerful people or is it still a bit like the old days and the transit union still has a bit of pull with "certain sections" of society if you know what I mean?
