absolutely.
if it was supposed to be a discount store, especially for the sporting shops then the prices should be cheaper then the retail shops at marion and in the city etc

Might depend on which store(s) you shop at, when I get there I generally only go to the Jag Shop and the purchases are always significantly cheaper than any of the Retail mobs.
A few years back after going there I had to head into town to buy some shoes, noticed the same Jeans, Shirts and Wallet I'd bought at Harbourtown were double (more than in some cases) the price in the city!

The HArbourtown at the Gold Coast is the real deal and about 4 times the size of Adelaides...you get genuine discounts especially on surfing gear Rip Curl, Quiksilver T-shirts for $15-$20 etc.
When we were up there we bought 10 Tshirts for $10- and sold them on eBay for $30+!!!...paid for one arifare up there easy....if you are ever looking at this type of gear on eBay you will see the seller is 95% of the time from Gold Coast
