Suggestion for this site

Why not have a forum just for match results? The old "footysa" site had this on their main page, and it created a focal point for post match discussion. Without a specific match results forum/main page feature, the details of what happened on match day is sometimes scattered through multiple threads. So it is harder to get the results at a glance, and a quick gist of what happened under the present system.
I understand that this would create a job that needs to be done after each game, and perhaps the same person would be reluctant to fulfill this role week in week out, so it could be done on a volunteer, or nomination basis, with a different person (moderator?) posting the results after each game/round and making a quick report of what happened to start off the post match thread(s).
Just an idea anyway, and something I would like to see included in this site. What do others think?

I don't think it needs its own forum but similar has happened in the past, occasionally I or someone else have started a summary of match results with full scores, etc, anyone is welcome to create such a thread each week.

I still think it would be an improvement, to have match results and discussion together on a specific forum. Judging by the lack of reponse however, I guess that view is in the minority. Thanks to those who took the trouble to reply, it is at least good to know how others feel about it.
Except for Rikky Boy of course. If the internet was made out of paper, I'd have no shortage of substance to scrunch or fold and clean my date with the amount of posts you put on here!

I don't think another forum is needed as there is enough already, but perhaps a thread for each game could be put up each Monday as a sticky and from there people can comment, Wedgie can put the stats in as he already does, anyone can add teams as they come out, put in live scores and write match reports so everything about the game is in one spot. Also, whoever writes the first post in the thread can edit it and put the score there.

Aerie: The number of forums we have already is about the only thing that I wouldn't like about starting one just for match results, we hav eenough already. The sticky idea could work, and after about 5 days we could just "unstick" them and allow them to slide down the forum. Then we would have the luxury of seeing the round's results at the top of the page for a few days after each weekend. Results at a glance, then a click on the mouse for in depth reports and discussion. Ah, for the simple things in life....
